HOW TO BECOME A QME

Step 1:
QME certification test preparation program.

We offer a comprehensive QME test preparation program to ensure passing the State of California QME certification test at your very first attempt. The program includes Q bank and extensive live QME test prep by our Medical Director, Dr. Sherman.

Step 2:
Complete the Mandatory 16-Hour QME Report Writing Course

Premier Disability Evaluators, PC is accredited by the Administrative Director of the California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) as an approved provider of the Mandatory 16-Hour QME Report Writing Course.

Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 11.5, all physicians seeking appointment as a new QME must complete at least 16 hours of approved instruction in disability evaluation report writing.

Course Format:

Premier Disability Evaluators, PC is approved by the DWC as a Mandatory 16-Hour Report Writing Course Provider (#25).

Sign Pre-QME Agreement

A straightforward agreement that includes our exclusive administration of your QME practice for one year following QME certification.

We work with you to build a reputation of an excellent med-legal expert among WC judges, defense attorneys, applicant attorneys and insurance adjusters.

We work with you to build your success as a new QME in all the aspects of QME work.

We work with you by engaging in step-by-step training in med-legal reports writing from A-Z, preparation for deposition testimony via mock depositions, we train you to generate reports representing substantial medical evidence.

We work with you to assure that your reports received well by all the parties which undoubtedly will lead to being chosen on QME panels more frequently than other physicians in your respective specialties.
